Meet Dr Mark Ashby

Known for creating beautiful smiles, Anderson Orthodontics has even more to smile about as it welcomes Dr. Mark Ashby to the team. With shared educational backgrounds and closely aligned values, Dr. Ashby is a natural fit. He and Dr. Anderson attended the same dental school, both graduated as valedictorians, and then completed the same orthodontic residency program, earning their DDS and MS. Both are committed to the profession of orthodontics through ABO board certification, and Dr. Ashby is completing the final stages of becoming board-certified, a distinction he hopes to share with Dr. Anderson. Even more important than their similar training is their shared commitment to excellence and service. Dr. Ashby is grateful to practice orthodontics in his hometown and serve the Texarkana community. He is returning with his wife, Esther, and their son, John. With deep ties to the Ark-La-Tex area, he looks forward to caring for patients and helping eaach one leave with a wonderful smile.

Dr. Ashby prioritizes continuing education and stays current by reading orthodontic literature and exploring leading-edge technologies. He is also completing the American Board of Orthodontics certification process.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Ashby values spending time with family and reading. He also enjoys attending local sporting events and outdoor activities.
